Good Morning Friends & Family. Today I chose to write about something personal. I’ve decided that today is good time to tell you how Great My Mother was. She was born in 1939 The Bigest Books of that year were The Grapes of Wrath, And then there were none, All this and Heavan Too. The Bigest Movies of 1939 are still to this day considered classic just like my Mom. Those movies are Gone with the Wind, The Wizzard of Oz, Mr. Smith goes to Washington. My Mother graduated from Coughlin Hi School in 1957. She became a Nurse and worked all kinds of Nursing jobs from the Emergency room to private duty, to becoming the School Nurse at Wyoming Seminary Hi School in Kingston Pa. She was the Nurse that School ever had for 31 years from 1979 until 2000. She had 3 boys with her Husband Mark Umphred Sr. Together they raised Mark Jr, Michael and John. The boys weren’t the easiest thing that the 2 of them ever to put up with at times. But Through 64 years of Married life they found a way to teach that life isn’t always easy. There are many bumps along the way. My Mother was Amazing at doing all the things that mom’s from baking pies, cakes, cookies. To making dinner to going to all her children’s events from little League to basketball to mini football to plays. She has unfortunately passed this year. She will be missed by ALL her remaining Sisters and of course her sons Mark Jr,Michael,John. Her grand children Tyler, Andrew, Nicholas, and grand daughter Rachel. She recently became a great Grandmother which of course made her proud.
